How to Bulk Update Rental Class Numbers in Item List

Once you have updated the seed data and turned on the integration that will always stay in sync going forward. (ALERT ONLY)

Next step would be to update the item data from the 4 digit code to the 8 digit fixed asset class number.

To do this, have an admin log into your cloud console. Then navigate on the left hand side of the page to view item list tab and perform the following steps.



Here are the steps.
1,Export the desired records from the grid
2. Open the CSV filed on excel and remove/delete the following columns -  id_item_master ,uuid_accounts_fk, date_created, date_updated.
3. Update the rental class to whatever Digits you need to and delete the first row (the header/column names)
4. When completed save it as a Tab delimited .txt file , it is a selectable option in the save as option.
5.  Use the import button on the Items Grid or Drag the .txt into the grid for importing. -> If formated correctly a grid will pop up showing records being imported.
6. When completed you will receive user feedback on the number of records that where imported/edited.
 
 Do not change Tag/Epc values as these are the reference point for the update
