How to determine my Android Operating System Version

In this article, we describe how to determine your Android Operating System version.  Ironically, these steps may vary per version but the general location should be very similar.

  1. Select "Settings" from your Android Home screen
  2. Select "About Phone" or "About Tablet"
  3. Select "Android version" or "Software Information" if "Android Version" is not available
  4. Locate the setting named "Android Version"

At the time of this article, Easy RFID Pro supports versions of Android v5.0 and newer.  As of June 1, 2024, this minimum version will move to v7.1 and greater.
