When you are ready to install a new version of Easy RFID Pro open your current Easy RFID Pro app and SYNC SCANS to ensure that your data is up to date in the cloud.
Once that is done, on your device swipe up to go to SETTINGS > APPS & NOTIFICATIONS> EASY RFID PRO > STORAGE & CACHE and tap "Clear Storage" (this will also clear the cache).
Next, you will need to uninstall the Easy RFID Pro app. Click the square button at the bottom of the screen to return to the main screen and tap "CLEAR ALL"
Swipe up on your device to pull up the menu and find and open FILES > ☰ (found in the upper left corner) > DOWNLOADS
Then, hold down the Easy RFID Pro Android icon until the trash can appears at the top of the screen. Once you see the trash can appear, release the hold on the icon and tap the trash can. When prompted if you want to delete the app, tap "YES".
BEFORE CONTINUING TO THE NEXT STEP, BE SURE THAT YOUR DEVICE IS CONNECTED TO YOUR WiFi
Return to the main screen and tap the Google icon to open Chrome. Visit
easyrfidpro.com/support and click on Knowledge Base > Software > Easy RFID Pro App > EASY RFID PRO APP DOWNLOADS and click the link to download the file (follow the prompts and continue to download, ignoring the warning prompts).
Go back to the main screen and swipe up to go to FILES > MC3300x > DOWNLOADS and you will see the new version has been downloaded.
Click the app, tap CONTINUE > INSTALL > OPEN > ALLOW.
Now that the new version of the app is installed, on your device go back to SETTINGS > APPS > EASY RFID PRO > STORAGE and clear the cache and the data.
Please note that the first time you login on your device you may need to login with your email address not your username.
The first time you open Easy RFID Pro, go to ASSIGN TAG and GET SEED DATA, then go to TOUCH SCAN > SYNC ITEM LIST to ensure that all of your data has been retreived.
