Deleted Tag from cloud didn't remove from handheld device.
In version 5 and newer when you sync data on the mobile reader it does not overwrite data from the cloud. It only updates (appends data).
Example 1: I delete a tag in the cloud and then perform a sync item list on the hand held device. Once complete the tag is still showing on the handheld device if I scan it.
Note: Cloud does not overwrite what is on the handheld
Example 2: I edit the name or notes field in the cloud and then perform a sync on the mobile device. Mobile device will now see this change when a tag is synced.
Note: The data from he cloud has been updated on the handheld device (Append)
Example 3: I delete a tag from the cloud and then use the handheld to reassign the tag the mobile device will now have two tags with the same tag number but different data
Note: DO NOT DO THIS! Read Below for correct proceedure
1. Delete tag from item list on the cloud.
2 On the handheld device-
- Open your current Easy RFID Pro app and SYNC SCANS using the sync item list (located in the touch scan page) to ensure that your data on the mobile device is up to date in the cloud.
- Once that is done, Close the Easy RFID Pro App. on your device swipe up to go to SETTINGS > APPS & NOTIFICATIONS> EASY RFID PRO > STORAGE & CACHE and tap "Clear Storage" (this will also clear the cache).
- Reboot the device.
- Launch the Easy RFID Pro App
- log in to your account- Note: you will need to use your full email address and password that you created
- Tap assign Tag, then press " get seed data", once complete exit this page
- Tap Touch scan, then press "sync item list" - Note the total number of records it shows syncing should match exactly to the number of records you have in the cloud console on the view item list tab.
- You may now re assign that tag or continue using the device as normal
Note: If you don't delete the tag on the cloud and just reassign the tag using the handheld the data will append and function correctly.
