How to Setup a Printer (printing from your handheld device)

Each handheld device can be setup to print to one printer at a time.

These settings are stored with each user's log in profile on that specific device.

The below list is a list that has been tested with the Easy RFID Pro operating on an Android device (although most modern printers should have no problem printing our reports if properly setup).

  • All HP Laser jet printers
  • Lexmark 260
  • Ricoh 811DN

To setup your printer:

  1. Log into the Easy RFID Pro app on your device.
  2. Navigate to the reports icon
  3. Click the printer button (located the bottom right corner of the page)
  4. The system will prompt you to type the IP address and port number of the printer. Ask the IT person at your company to find the IP address of the printer you wish to print to.  In most cases the printer port will be 9100. If it is different your IT administrator should be able to tell you.
  5. Once configured, tap the print button at the bottom of each report you wish to print.

Additional Notes:
The pages are set to print landscape, single sided. The format of the predefined printed reports cannot be changed at this time
