How do I add a new class ID number to my seed data if it is not in my event rental software?
If you would like to add a custom class ID number to your seed data, you will need to add it via an excel spreadsheet upload.
With that being said, if you have a one off item that you would like to use a custom class ID number for without adding to your seed data, you can do that right on the scanner using the "Assign Tag" function. Enter the item details (i.e. name and bin location) on the scanner.
*Please note that if you choose to do it this way, the information will NOT be stored in your seed data - only in your item list. If you ever have another product with the same class ID number the scanner will not automatically populate the common name of any other information associated with that number. You would need to manually enter it again.
